Upward Sports
Upward Sports seeks to develop the whole athlete through the 360 progression ensuring students grow mentally, athletically, spiritually, and socially. The primary focus of Upward is to develop every child (3's - Grade 6 boys and girls).
Upward Sports is a first-class sports experience that emphasizes healthy competition, sportsmanship, skills building and fun versus the “win-at-all-costs” mentality found in many children sports leagues.

Upward promotes salvation, character, and self-esteem in all who participate through:
Keeping sportsmanship and competitiveness in proper perspective
Having only one hour of practice and one game each week
Having a set substitution system where all players are allowed equal playing time and equal opportunity for improvement
Exposing players to Scripture-based devotions during each practice and spectators to halftime testimonies each game day
Upward Football
Upward Flag Football is a fundamentally based league that teaches the sport as well as sportsmanship. Minus tackling and the kicking game, your child will gain every other skill that pertains to football.
Upward Flag Football is offered in the Fall age 5 by December 31 to grade 6 boys. Registration starts in May for the fall season.
Upward Soccer
Age 3 by December 31 through grade 6 boys and girls
Registration opens in Feb and closes in March
Season runs in April - May
Upward Soccer provides an opportunity for Pre-K - 6th grade boys and girls to participate in the fastest growing sport in the USA!

Evaluations, practices and games will be played at our FBCWF Downtown gym. This is an Indoor League!
Registration for Upward Soccer 2025 is open for boys and girls, ages 3 (by 12/31/2024) to 6th grade! Early registration ends on Tuesday, February 25th. Last day to register is Thursday, March 6th. We ask EVERY child attend ONE evaluation for uniform sizing and skill assessment.
The evaluations are:
Tuesday, February 25th, 6-7 pm
Sunday, March 2nd, 12:30-1:30 pm
Thursday, March 6th, 6-7 pm
All evaluations, practices, and games will take place at the Gym/Fellowship Hall are of our Downtown campus (1200 Ninth St).
